SoftBank is offering 70 million Meesho shares through a block deal, a 1.5% stake in the Indian e-commerce platform priced at a floor of ₹205 apiece, according to a term sheet reviewed by Mint. That floor is a 3.1% discount to the stock’s September 2 close of ₹211.60 on the National Stock Exchange, valuing the sale at roughly ₹1,435 crore, or about $151 million. The seller, SoftBank affiliate SVF II Meerkat, takes a 60-day lock-up under the term sheet. Fidelity and Y Combinator-linked entities have already trimmed their own Meesho stakes, selling ₹988 crore and ₹970 crore worth of stock in June and August. Those exits followed the June 9 expiry of the lock-in on Meesho’s pre-IPO shares, which freed nearly 68% of them, worth roughly ₹60,000 crore, per JM Financial.
