Salesforce launched AIforce at Dreamforce, a layer that lets people and AI agents reach Salesforce data, workflows and business logic from outside its own interface, running on whatever permissions the person asking already has. It ships with Salesforce in Claude, a prebuilt MCP server carrying 37 sales skills that cover prospecting through pipeline hygiene, which spares customers the authentication and skill-mapping these integrations usually take, and it’s in beta for everyone after pilots at Deloitte, GitLab and Legora. Slackforce puts the same context in Slack, where Slackbot can read the support cases behind an account going quiet, reassign it, and draft the win-back email. Salesforce says the model provider retains none of the data, and admins connect once with no migration.
