OpenAI launches a marketplace that lets businesses spend their OpenAI commitments on partner apps like Adobe and Salesforce

by | Sep 30, 2026 | Latest E-commerce News & Updates

OpenAI launched the OpenAI Marketplace with more than 30 partners, including Adobe, Salesforce, HubSpot, ServiceNow, and Figma, and eligible business customers can now put part of the spending they’ve already committed to OpenAI toward those partners’ software. On the consumer side, a new Sign in with ChatGPT option lets people log into 16 outside apps, including Notion, Vercel, and Cognition’s Devin, and draw on the usage allowance from their ChatGPT plan instead of paying each app separately. Sam Altman told Business Insider after his DevDay keynote that he wants OpenAI to route demand and customers to other companies the way the big cloud providers do, though OpenAI hasn’t said how it will bill for any of this or split revenue with partners.penai
