Wonder, which owns Grubhub and Blue Apron, will launch Wonder Create on November 17, letting influencers, entrepreneurs, and brands run their own “restaurant” out of its locations for $10 a month and keep a share of the revenue, according to Amelia Lucas at CNBC. Creators type a description of the restaurant they want, and the AI generates a name, logo, recipes, and prices in about a minute, which they can tweak by editing the prompt. Wonder’s kitchen staff and robots cook and deliver the food, so creators don’t need capital, pay overhead, or oversee a kitchen, but every dish has to come from the roughly 700 ingredients Wonder already stocks. Wonder plans to enter Texas next year and wants 100 or more locations in the state before 2028, adding to the 170 it has opened on the East Coast.
