The Trade Desk brought back co-founder Dave Pickles, who stepped down as CTO and left its board in 2023, to create and run a CTO Council that will guide its technology and product roadmap, including AI agents. The company didn’t say whether Pickles will work full time, rejoin the board, or hold an officer title. His return comes days before The Trade Desk’s Nov. 9 third-quarter report, for which it guided revenue to at least $650M, about 12% lower than the same quarter last year, which would be the first year-over-year drop since it went public in 2016.
