Phia, the AI shopping app co-founded by Phoebe Gates and Sophia Kianni, launched AI Outfit Creation, which builds outfits from clothes users already own. Instead of asking people to photograph each item, Phia connects to a user’s Gmail account and pulls past purchases from shopping receipts to fill in a digital closet. The app then styles complete looks from that wardrobe based on the user’s taste and the local weather, and Outfit of the Day, another addition, sends one personalized look each morning. Until now, Phia has mostly been a price-comparison tool that helps shoppers find deals on clothes they don’t yet own.
