Oracle will start offering Google’s TPUs in its cloud, along with inference chips from Cerebras and SambaNova, while also expanding its Nvidia buildout to multi-gigawatt scale with Vera Rubin servers. Google is selling the TPUs outright for Oracle to run in its own data centers instead of renting out the capacity, which Yahoo Finance reported is a first for Google with another cloud provider. Oracle is also replacing some of Nvidia’s networking gear with its own Acceleron chips, even inside the Nvidia-based systems. Oracle didn’t disclose terms or say how it’ll pay for any of the chips, but it kept its fiscal 2027 capital spending target at about $90 billion to $95 billion.
