Anthropic, whose IPO is being led by Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, picked JPMorgan to run the US retail portion and is weighing setting aside roughly 15% to 20% of the IPO’s shares for individual investors, according to Bloomberg. Citigroup is expected to coordinate retail sales in the other countries covered by the filing Anthropic made public Monday, including Australia, Canada, Japan, the UK, Switzerland, and some EU members. JPMorgan will pitch the shares to wealthy clients, private banking customers, and brokerage platforms, with CEO Jamie Dimon expected to take part, after running the same retail push for SpaceX’s $86.2 billion listing, where individuals put in more than $100 billion in orders.
