Meta launched Muse Gadgets, an open-source project that lets developers build their own hardware for its Muse AI agent from a standard ESP32 board or a Raspberry Pi. The ESP32 and Linux SDKs are on GitHub under the Apache 2.0 license, and builders can use them to connect Muse to their own screens, buttons, sensors and speakers. Meta also built its own gadget, Muse Home Link, a small USB-C device that joins a home Wi-Fi network so Muse can use community-built skills to control lights, a TV or a printer. Meta made 5,000 Home Links and is giving them away free to active US Muse subscribers, one per person, with shipping starting this month, Nat Friedman, head of product at Meta Superintelligence Labs, said on X.
