JPMorgan Chase signed a partnership to use OpenAI’s Codex coding agent and cybersecurity models, plus OpenAI models for knowledge work across the bank, OpenAI president Greg Brockman said on November 4 at WSJ’s Tech conference, without giving terms. Brockman also called OpenAI’s first half of 2026 “pretty rough” as Anthropic pulled ahead in enterprise coding, but he said annualized revenue grew 70% in the third quarter and business customers now account for most of OpenAI’s sales. Asked if OpenAI could go public in 2027, Brockman answered, “I think so.”
