Google launches Vertical Video Unification in Display & Video 360 to buy and measure vertical video ads across publishers

Google launched Vertical Video Unification, which lets advertisers buy and measure vertical video from multiple publishers inside Display & Video 360, with Gemini running the buys and tracking results across the full funnel. Advertisers upload a 9:16 ad once and run it across streaming apps, social platforms, open-web publishers, search, and AI tools, with reach and frequency counted without duplicates, according to Laurie Sullivan at MediaPost, though neither she nor Google names the specific platforms. Google said an early test with Unilever’s Hellmann’s and WPP Media raised unique reach 24% and cut cost per unique user 25%.
