Amazon is hiring a Head of Regulatory Approvals for Prime Air in Australia to win every aviation clearance it needs to deliver there by drone, according to a job listing spotted by The Register, which says Prime Air is evaluating Australia and other countries. The role reports to a Leader of Prime Air Expansion for Asia Pacific, and the listing says the hire will be judged on approvals won, deadlines met, and Australian customers actually getting drone deliveries. Prime Air currently flies in the US and in Darlington, England, and Amazon said in August it plans to reach nearly 500 US cities and towns this year.
