Google added Google Wallet as a connected app in Gemini, so US users can ask the assistant to pull up loyalty cards, boarding passes, and event tickets, or check which rewards and offers they haven’t used yet. Users who also link bank and card accounts to Wallet through Plaid can have Gemini break down where their money went, answer questions like what they spent on groceries last month, and suggest ways to budget. Gemini can’t make payments with the cards stored in Wallet, and it can’t add, change, or remove linked accounts. The feature is rolling out gradually to English-speaking adults with personal Google Accounts and Keep Activity turned on, and it doesn’t work in Gems or Gemini Live.
