CTR Group, the UK reverse logistics company behind the secondhand clothing marketplace Thrift+, acquired the fashion rental site Hirestreet for an undisclosed price and is keeping founder Isabella West on as CEO. Hirestreet’s subscription, which costs £75 a month for five rented pieces and started in 2024 as a collaboration with Asos, now brings in more than half its revenue. CTR built Hirestreet its own facility to repair, clean, and steam rented clothes, which can move to Thrift+ for resale once they’re retired from rental.
