Google moved its Missed Growth Opportunity estimates into the main Google Ads Recommendations tab as a beta for eligible advertisers. Estimates cover the clicks, conversions, and conversion value a campaign left unclaimed, and they break out whether a capped budget or a bid set too low caused the gap. Google had kept the tool inside Ads Labs until now, so the change puts a case for spending more right next to the recommendations advertisers already act on. Figures are modeled projections rather than measured results, and Google is the party estimating what additional spend in its own auction would have returned, so advertisers raising budgets off them are working from a forecast they can’t verify beforehand. PPC consultant Thomas Eccel spotted the beta and identified it as the rebranded Labs tool.
