Descartes Systems Group acquired Extensiv, a California warehouse management and fulfillment platform for third-party logistics providers, for $120 million. Extensiv runs inventory, orders, B2B and B2C fulfillment, and billing for 3PLs across the sales channels, marketplaces, and carriers they connect to, with AI features meant to surface insights and cut manual work. Descartes is folding it into its Global Logistics Network, which brings the customers on Extensiv’s platform and their operational data onto the network alongside Descartes’ transportation, customs, and last-mile products. The deal lands eight days after Descartes bought Tai for $100 million. It also acquired last-mile software provider Drivin in July for roughly $30 million.
