Condé Nast editors from Vogue, GQ and Allure will curate weekly shopping collections in Shopify’s Shop app for commissions

Condé Nast became the first major publisher in the Shop app’s curation program, with editors from Vogue, GQ, Architectural Digest, Allure, Condé Nast Traveler and Glamour putting together weekly product collections for the app and Shop.com, according to Kerry Flynn at Axios. A few collections are live now and a bigger batch arrives in early November, in a program that until now only showcased picks from individual creators, brands and founders. Condé Nast earns commissions on sales plus performance-based incentives, and its own sites will also send readers to Shop to check out on some editor picks. Every product in the Shop collections has to be sold through Shopify, but Condé Nast’s own coverage will keep recommending products from other retailers.
