Coveo, the Quebec City-based AI search and product discovery company, acquired Anglera, a San Francisco startup backed by Y Combinator, for undisclosed terms. Anglera’s AI agent reads manufacturer spec sheets, PDFs and product images, then fills in and standardizes catalog attributes to match each customer’s requirements, recording the source behind every attribute it adds. Coveo will sell Anglera’s enrichment as an add-on for its Commerce customers, while Anglera’s existing clients, which include several Fortune 500 companies, stay on its platform. The two companies plan to connect the products so that searches that come up empty on Coveo show where catalog data is missing, Anglera fills the gap, and Coveo measures whether discovery and conversions improve.
