Cashea raised $100 million across two rounds and plans to expand from installment lending into payments and savings. The Venezuelan BNPL app disclosed for the first time a $40 million Series A led by Spice Expeditions that closed in March 2026, split evenly between equity and debt, followed by a $60 million Series B led by FinSight Ventures in June 2026. Cashea claims 10 million consumer accounts, over half the country's adult population, a merchant network of 40,000 stores, and 100 million transactions since launch. The financing lands weeks after the earthquake in Venezuela, after which Cashea waived late fees across the country, advanced cash to merchants, and loosened credit access.
