Anthropic plans to sell IPO shares to UK retail investors through RetailBook, following SpaceX in skipping a UK prospectus

Anthropic is working with RetailBook to sell shares in its IPO to retail investors in the UK, according to Bloomberg, using a UK regime called the public offer platform so it doesn’t have to publish a separate prospectus for British buyers. RetailBook is licensed to run those offerings and would coordinate the sale, collecting orders from other investment platforms, but people familiar with the plans said nothing is final. SpaceX took the same route in June, when it sold $364M of stock to UK retail investors in its own listing.
