Amazon replaces Prime’s free Grubhub+ perk with Uber Eats, but $0 delivery fees now require a $25 order instead of $12

Amazon is replacing Prime’s free Grubhub+ membership with an Uber Eats benefit that lets US members order restaurant delivery in the Amazon Shopping app or on Amazon.com, with no delivery fee on orders of $25 or more. Grubhub+, which Prime members have had for free since 2022, waived delivery fees on orders over $12 until Amazon’s deal with Grubhub ended on November 5, according to TechCrunch. Members don’t need an Uber account or the Uber Eats app to use the new benefit, because they sign in and pay with their Amazon account, and Amazon sends the delivery updates. The benefit covers nearly 10,000 US cities and towns and includes the half-price Prime for Young Adults and Prime Access tiers.
