San Francisco-based startup Voxel secured a $44M Series B round led by NewRoad Capital Partners to expand its AI-driven computer vision platform that identifies workplace safety hazards in real-time. Used by companies like Macy’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and the Port of Virginia, Voxel’s tech detects issues like forklift violations and poor ergonomics through heat maps and video analytics. CEO Vernon O’Donnell said the funding will grow its engineering team and global infrastructure, with the company aiming to close more Fortune 500 deals in 2025. Customers using Voxel have seen injury rates drop by up to 91%.
