TikTok will make a set of scripted vertical micro-series with MADE BY US STUDIOS, the studio arm of creator management firm MADE BY ALL, for TikTok and its standalone micro-drama app PineDrama. The first two shows, announced at MIPCOM Cannes, both star TikTok creators, with Hannah Stocking, who has 29.7 million followers, leading and co-writing the revenge thriller Player and Adam Rose starring in The Knock, a genre series from Paranormal Activity producer Spooky Pictures. The deal builds on TikTok’s April launch of Screen Time, a micro-series from Issa Rae’s company Hoorae that TikTok says has drawn nearly 580 million views, the most of any show on TikTok or PineDrama.
