TikTok Shop mandates U.S. merchants use internal shipping services

by | Jan 26, 2026 | Latest E-commerce News & Updates

TikTok Shop announces it will eliminate independent shipping options for U.S. merchants, compelling brands to utilize the platform’s proprietary logistics network starting February 25. The policy requires sellers to transition to services such as Fulfilled by TikTok or Upgraded TikTok Shipping by the end of March, effectively ending the “Seller Shipping” model that allowed businesses to manage their own carriers. The move toward a centralized distribution system follows the platform’s recent acquisition by a consortium including Oracle and Silver Lake.
