Shopify Plus agency Swanky raises £7.6M from YFM Equity Partners to scale e-commerce operations and pursue M&A

Swanky, a full-service Shopify Platinum agency headquartered in Exeter, has secured £7.6M in investment from YFM Equity Partners' Buyout Funds to fund continued growth in talent and service capability, along with selective mergers and acquisitions. Founded in 2010 and named one of Shopify's first Plus Partners in EMEA in 2016, Swanky has grown to about 70 employees under CEO Dan Partridge with operations across the UK, Europe, and Australia, and as part of the deal former Havas Creative Group Global CEO Chris Hirst joins as chair while Elly Adams joins the board as CFO. YFM Equity Partners Investment Director Matt Gordon-Smith said the firm sees “significant opportunity to scale further as more brands prioritise performance-led e-commerce strategies.”
