OpenAI launched a ChatGPT for small business program built around ChatGPT Work, its agent product for multi-step tasks, pairing virtual training webinars with in-person AI academies run by the OpenAI Academy team across the U.S. Owners also get written and video guides plus interactive ones they can upload straight into ChatGPT Work, along with skills, plugins, and promotional offers from partners including Dropbox, Shopify, Intuit, Slack, Atlassian, and Wix, built for common workflows in accounting, marketing, and e-commerce. ChatGPT Work runs on GPT-5.6 and connects to a business's files and applications, and it is available on every subscription tier. OpenAI says 78% of attendees at its Small Business AI Jams last year built a working AI workflow in one day and 42% saved more than five hours a week.
