Nvidia will put $3 billion into the $95 billion stock offering Meta announced Monday to fund its AI push, as part of a wider deal that expands the companies’ work on Meta’s Muse models. Nvidia and Meta will tune the infrastructure behind Muse models and agents to speed up training and inference and lower Meta’s costs to run them, and they’re weighing Nvidia’s OpenShell for deploying agents safely and its Sentry software for monitoring how agents behave. Meta also plans to roll out more Nvidia hardware, including Vera Rubin systems and Vera CPUs, along with Spectrum-X Ethernet networking and BlueField-4 chips.
