Anthropic’s seven cofounders each hold between 231 million and 244 million shares, which would make their combined holdings worth about $200 billion if Anthropic lists at a $2 trillion valuation, according to Amanda Gerut at Fortune. The S-1 states that each cofounder is paid equal compensation, and CEO Dario Amodei and his sister Daniela Amodei, Anthropic’s president and board chair, both got raises in July to a $1.4 million salary. Only the two Amodeis appear in the pay tables because they’re the only cofounders counted as executive officers, but all seven hold the same number of stock options and RSUs. SpaceX took the opposite approach before its June IPO, when it gave Elon Musk two awards totaling 1.3 billion restricted shares, and nobody else at the company comes close.
