Nebex raises $30M seed led by Google Ventures to build payment and market infrastructure connecting space companies with sovereign government buyers

Nebex, a market-infrastructure platform for the global space economy, raised $30M in a seed round led by Google Ventures with participation from other venture funds, alongside a new banking relationship with J.P. Morgan. The platform operates as an exchange layer connecting space companies directly to sovereign government buyers and the capital that moves deals, aiming to smooth the uneven revenue and cross-border cash-flow gaps founders face in government space contracting. Nebex was founded in late 2025 by Tejpaul Bhatia, former CEO of Axiom Space, joined by serial exchange founder Anand Subramanian and former Italian foreign-affairs vice minister Manlio Di Stefano. The funding will help Nebex scale the platform and connect sovereign space programs with companies serving the industry.
