Bobby Hollis, Microsoft's vice president of energy procurement for data centers, has left the company after three years, during which he oversaw the company's aggressive push to secure power for its AI infrastructure including a landmark deal to restart Pennsylvania's Three Mile Island nuclear plant. Hollis did not disclose where he is headed but said he won't be “leaving the conversation.” His departure follows that of another Microsoft energy VP, Brian Janous, who left in 2023 to found Cloverleaf Infrastructure, a data center energy developer that has since been fielding takeover offers.
