Meta quietly rolled out an app called Pocket that turns AI text prompts into small playable games and interactive apps, alongside a scrollable feed of others' creations, surfacing on the App Store and Google Play on June 29 without an official announcement, according to app intelligence provider Appfigures. Pocket is built on the Gizmo team that Meta acquired earlier this year, carrying over the same prompt-to-mini-app concept from Gizmo's platform, which still runs as a separate app-store listing. Meta has been pushing to bring AI creation tools mainstream through its Meta AI image app, its Vibes app for AI-generated video, and AI features in its Edits video editor for creators.
