Meesho says close to 75% of its orders now come through Prism, an AI system that ranks products for each shopper, according to head of engineering Pratik Kumar in an interview with Udisha Srivastav at Business Standard. Prism weighs signals like a shopper’s location, device, browsing history, and which listings they click or scroll past, so it can surface products for people who arrive without anything specific in mind. Meesho’s other AI agents include Chorus, which Kumar said handles 62% of customer queries, and Vaani, which lets shoppers search, add items to a cart, and check out by voice. Running those models on Meesho’s in-house Bharat-MLStack costs roughly 60% to 70% less than using outside providers, Kumar said.
