Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it struck two Amazon data centers in Bahrain with cruise missiles, and Bloomberg confirmed damage at both sites from European Space Agency Sentinel-2 imagery, though the pictures don’t show how severe it is. Amazon declined to comment. Iranian state outlet Tasnim carried the IRGC statement casting the strike as retaliation for American attacks on facilities at Darkhoveyn. It’s the fourth data center hit since the war started in February, and the IRGC named Google, Microsoft, Palantir, IBM, Nvidia, and Oracle as targets back in March.
