Google will let users log where they put untagged objects in Find Hub by telling Gemini, with photos and voice retrieval

Google will let users log where they put physical objects in Find Hub, which until now only located things with a tracker tag attached. Telling Gemini that a passport went into a bedroom drawer saves the location, with a photo if the user adds one, and it comes back either by asking Gemini or by opening a remembered items tab. The feature needs Android 16 or later and works only in markets that already carry both Gemini and Find Hub. It arrives as part of the September Android Drop alongside Guided vision, which describes what a phone camera sees for blind and low-vision users.
