Google retires standalone Local Services Ads dashboard, moving pay-per-lead campaigns into Performance Max starting August 2026

Google is retiring the standalone Local Services Ads dashboard and folding local lead campaigns into Performance Max inside Google Ads, with the first phase starting in August 2026. U.S. home and storefront service advertisers go first, covering categories like plumbing, HVAC, electrical, house cleaning, roofing, and pest control, followed in late 2026 by service-area businesses without storefronts and accounts running custom bidding or booking setups. Everything else, including non-U.S. accounts, moves in 2027. The pay-per-lead model, keywordless targeting, and Search and Maps placements stay put, while manual bidding, industry-level Target CPA, and Better Business Bureau callouts go away. Advertisers will get an e-mail 14 days before their migration date, and historical reports vanish unless they export them first.
