Anthropic posted an executive communications writer job that pays $295,000 to $345,000, according to Katherine Li at Business Insider. The listing wants at least eight years of experience and someone who can pick up technical subjects fast, help executives sharpen their arguments, and stay calm when news breaks. AWS, by comparison, lists an executive communications manager job in Seattle at $126,700 to $171,400. The posting lands while Anthropic’s own data shows junior workers made up 9% of hires in its technical teams in June, compared with 27% at the start of 2025, and CFO Krishna Rao said in May that AI writes 90% of Anthropic’s code. Communications pros interviewed for the piece said the pay reflects how much more judgment is worth once AI can turn out a draft in seconds.
