Google lets restaurants turn off DoorDash, Uber Eats and other third-party ordering links on their Business Profiles themselves

Google added controls to Business Profile that let restaurants choose which third-party ordering services, like DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub and Instacart, show up on their listings in Search and Maps, and switch off pickup, delivery or both for each one. Until now, a restaurant that wanted a delivery app’s link removed had to ask that platform to pull or disconnect its feed, but owners can now opt out of a provider directly from their Business Profile dashboard. Google said the change answers one of the most common requests it gets from restaurant operators, though the company still suggests they keep a few providers active because diners tend to order through apps where they already pay for a subscription or have a card saved.
