Google lets people send vibe-coded AI Studio apps straight to a private Play Store library and share them without a dev account

Google is rolling out a way to send apps built in AI Studio directly to the Play Store, where they land in a private Personal Library that only the creator can see and install from by default. Creators can also share those apps, which Google doesn’t review, with a limited circle of family and friends, and they don’t need a developer account to do it. In the coming months, Google plans to add a path for turning a private app into a public listing, which would register the creator as a developer and send the app through the same review every other Play Store app gets.
