Google is testing a search ad format that hides most of an advertiser’s sitelinks by default, showing a numeric indicator for how many more exist and requiring a click to open the rest. Arpan Banerjee spotted the format and posted screenshots on LinkedIn, and Barry Schwartz at Search Engine Roundtable reproduced it in his own results. Google has run other versions of expandable sitelinks before, but this one puts the extra assets behind a count rather than showing them all in the ad. Google hasn’t confirmed the test or said how many advertisers are seeing it.
