eBay told sellers that USPS prices on some Ground Advantage and Priority Mail labels will fall on August 22, without giving a dollar figure or a percentage, according to Liz Morton at Value Added Resource. The cuts cover 2 lb Ground Advantage packages across Zones 1 through 8 and Priority Mail packages up to 10 lbs headed to Zone 8, and skip rural ZIP codes, which USPS has priced separately since 2024. eBay and other label providers hold negotiated contracts with USPS that set their prices apart from what’s published for retail and commercial customers, so the terms stay private and USPS announces nothing. It’s the sixth change since June’s surprise Ground Advantage discount, and Morton noted that even a cut costs work, since sellers have to update listings and shipping settings around it.
