eBay is dropping the price floor for Authenticity Guarantee on trading cards from $250 to $200 over the coming weeks, covering raw and graded singles in sports, CCG, and non-sport categories. Qualifying orders still ship to PSA, which verifies the card against the listing before forwarding it to the buyer. PSA has already restricted some direct submissions this year while clearing a grading backlog, and eBay said in June that authentication was unaffected. At the sports collectors convention, eBay showed holder prototypes with a tighter interior and magnetic closure, answering years of complaints that cards shift inside and arrive damaged.
