Descartes Systems Group acquired Drivin, a Santiago, Chile-based provider of last-mile delivery management software for Latin America, expanding its AI-powered logistics capabilities and Global Logistics Network. Drivin's platform helps retailers, distributors, and logistics providers optimize routes, manage dispatch, and track real-time delivery execution using machine learning and agentic AI, with strong adoption in dense urban markets. Descartes paid roughly $30M in cash on hand, plus a performance-based earn-out capped at $5M that hinges on revenue targets over the first two years and would be paid in fiscal 2029. Descartes said the deal deepens its Latin America reach and adds operational delivery data to serve distribution-heavy businesses scaling to meet faster-delivery expectations.
