Babylist named Rent the Runway cofounder Jenn Hyman chief executive effective September 9, with founder Natalie Gordon moving to executive chair. Babylist turns a profit and expects $1 billion in revenue this year, roughly three times what Rent the Runway booked last year. Gordon, a former Amazon engineer who started the registry 15 years ago, has since added Babylist Health, which supplies breast pumps through insurance, and Babylist Money, built around the new Trump Accounts. Hyman said she is looking at acquisitions outside e-commerce, while Gordon runs AI strategy as chair.
