Anthropic posted a job for an investor relations director, at a base salary of $425K to $600K, to build the company’s “investment narrative” as it preps for a possible IPO as soon as this fall. Director would act as the main liaison between big investors and Anthropic’s leadership, track AI developments, speak to its products, and model how big decisions could move the stock. Role partners with new IR head Kenneth Dorell, who joined from Meta in June and reports to CFO Krishna Rao, and follows the earlier exit of former IR chief Vu Bui. Hiring push follows Anthropic’s $965B May valuation and run-rate revenue it pegged above $47B, with the listing seeking someone who can explain a research-driven, AI-safety-focused public benefit corporation to Wall Street, a job made harder after SpaceX’s $1.77T June IPO slid back below its listing price.
