Anthropic launched Personal Finance in Claude, which lets US Pro, Max, and Ultra subscribers link their banks and credit cards through Plaid and ask questions about their money, like where it went this month or whether they can afford a vacation six months from now. Claude gets read-only access to each linked account’s balance, credit limit, and as much as two years of transactions, and it can build charts and dashboards from them. Anthropic says chats inside the finance hub won’t be used to train its models and that the feature carries no ads and doesn’t push its own cards or loans. OpenAI launched a similar feature, ChatGPT Finances, in May.
