Donald Trump reported a $10.71M licensing fee for the Amazon MGM Studios documentary ‘Melania’ as income for Melania Trump on his 2025 financial disclosure, tied to a $40M acquisition Democrats have cast as an attempt to win favor with him, according to Variety. Senator Elizabeth Warren called the $40M deal ‘bribery in plain sight,’ while Jeff Bezos rejected that and called buying the film a good business decision, after Amazon MGM also spent $35M marketing it to a $16.6M worldwide box office. Trump’s disclosure reported $2.2B in 2025 revenue, more than double the prior year, and listed settlement payouts from tech and media firms, including $24.5M from Meta, $22M from YouTube, and $8M from X over his suspended-account lawsuits.
