Amazon took the No. 1 spot on the Fortune Global 500 as the world’s biggest company by revenue, ending a run Walmart held for more than a decade, and will likely be the first company to book $1 trillion in a year. Jeff Bezos told Fortune that after Marketplace, Prime, and AWS, Amazon’s silicon business is becoming its next pillar, with the next-generation Trainium4 chip due next year.
