Brittany Hudson was sentenced Wednesday to 16 years and three months in federal prison and ordered to pay nearly $9.5 million in restitution over a scheme that moved $9.4 million out of Amazon in the first half of 2022. Hudson owned Legend Express, an Amazon delivery contractor, and her partner Kayricka Wortham was an operations manager at the Smyrna, Georgia warehouse who could sign off on new vendors and their invoices. The two registered dozens of fake vendors with Amazon and pushed more than 1,000 invoices through them for services never provided, spending the proceeds on a Smyrna house and a Lamborghini Urus among other cars. Out on bond, they sent a franchising company counterfeit court papers carrying a forged federal judge’s signature to show the charges had been dropped.
