Amazon told sellers that its extended holiday return window, which again covers purchases made from November 1 through December 31 and lets buyers send them back until January 31, will now apply every year, according to Liz Morton at Value Added Resource. Apple products only get until January 15, and the policy covers both FBA and seller-fulfilled orders under the usual refund rules. Until now, sellers had to wait each fall for Amazon to announce the dates, and in 2022 it started the window October 7 with a week’s notice before moving to November 1 the following year. Walmart’s extended returns start a month earlier, on October 1, so a Walmart Marketplace item bought on the first day can come back nearly four months later.
