OpenAI will hire 200 more people in Dublin and open its second applied AI lab, raising its planned Irish hiring to 450 roles

OpenAI will hire 200 more people at its Dublin-based European headquarters, on top of the 250 roles it announced in July, bringing its planned hiring in Ireland to 450. OpenAI is also opening its second applied AI lab in the city after one in Singapore, and like that one it’s a deployment team rather than a research group, pairing engineers with businesses building products on OpenAI’s current models. The openings span privacy, solutions, and forward-deployed engineering along with sales and user operations. OpenAI hasn’t put a figure on the Dublin investment, but it committed S$300 million to the Singapore lab.
